Putting together a good work wardrobe doesn’t have to break the bank.

In this video I am going to tell you how to create a good professional image on a budget.

Creating a professional look that makes you look good and feel confident can be done on a budget. You just have to know how.

1. Decide on the look you want to portray. This is a very important step because it narrows your focus and keeps you clear on what you are looking for when going shopping and getting dressed. Eg. If you want to create a sleek, chic look, you will look out for pieces with clean, simple lines and stay away from flouncy skirts in floral print.

2. Shop your own wardrobe. Many women don’t even know what is in their wardrobes. Once you know what look you are after, take a look at your existing wardrobe to see what will work with that look.

3. Make a shopping list. Making a list makes it much easier to shop. Once again, it narrows your focus and makes shopping less overwhelming. Don’t settle. If it’s not exactly what you are looking for, don’t waste your money.

4. Create a mix and match wardrobe. You don’t need a lot of clothes. You only need a few items that mix and match well.
