Do you have a closet full of clothing, but nothing to wear?
In this video I am going to tell you how to build the perfect wardrobe of clothing that will save you time, save you money and you will love to wear.
Many women despair because they spend hours shopping, spend lots of money and still feel like they have nothing to wear.
Here are my 5 steps to creating a fabulous wardrobe:
Step 1: Define your style. If you are not sure what your personal style is, take a look at the items in your wardrobe that you love to wear or wear the most. If these don’t reflect what you really love, make use of magazine or pinterest. What style and colours are you drawn to? How would you describe them, are the sleek and chic, soft and feminine or sporty? What do you want your look to say about you?
Step 2: Learn what works for your body shape. This is the key to looking fabulous no matter what you wear. If you really aren’t sure, then it’s worth asking a trusted friend or using the services of professionals. Really knowing what works for your shape will save you a fortune as it keeps you from buying expensive clothing that don’t work for you.
Step 3: Evaluate your lifestyle. What do you spend most of your time doing? Do you work from home and have young children or do you work in a formal corporate environment and travel often for work? These are things you need to consider when you plan your wardrobe. Your wardrobe should support you in your roles, not you trying to fit your life into your wardrobe.
Step 4: Shop your own wardrobe. Once you are clear on the look you want to create, you know what works for your shape and your lifestyle, take a look at your existing wardrobe. Which pieces work with the look you want to create?
Step 5: Make a list of the items you need to create the look you desire. Consider your budget and prioritise the pieces that will give you the most wear. You may not find them all at once, but don’t settle. Rather buy quality over quantity.
