One minute it’s hot, the next minute it’s cold. So what do you wear, be comfortable and stylish at the same time?
Layering different sleeve lengths is one of the most effect ways to layer for transitional dressing. In this video I am going to show you how.
1. ¾ length sleeves are one of my personal favourites during the in-between seasons. If you struggle to find them, consider buying long sleeve tops and simply have them shortened. When the weather is fairly warm, you can just wear a ¾ sleeve and simply add a long sleeve jacket for extra warmth in the chilly mornings and evenings. When it’s really cool, layer a long sleeve top underneath your ¾ length sleeve.
2. Making use of sleeveless layers is also really helpful. This will keep your core warm without making you too hot and bulky. Make use of waistcoats over tops or a faux fur sleeveless jacket for an on-trend look. When the weather is really chilly, you can top up with a coat or long sleeve jacket.
3. Layer short sleeve lengths over long sleeve lengths. This is a great trick as it allows you to wear your warmer weather clothing all year round. Layer your favourite dress over a long sleeve top or even a faux fur stole for an evening look.
