About the video:
Do you spend a fortune on clothing and still have nothing to wear? In this video I’m going to give you my top fashion shopping tips that will save you money and ensure you have plenty to wear.
You don’t have to have a huge wardrobe to look good. In fact, sometimes a small, versatile wardrobe means you have more to wear. If you don’t believe me, look in your wardrobe and see… how much of you clothing do you actually wear?
Shop your own wardrobe first: Before you buy another item, look to see what you already have. In fact, now is a good time to de-clutter your closet so that you are only left with the things you actually wear and love.
Make a shopping list: I know I keep saying this, but it really does make a difference. When you become clear on what you want, it makes your brain search it out. Now you may not find what you are looking for right away, but don’t despair… which brings me to my next tip..
Don’t settle: Don’t just buy something because you want to buy something. Rather keep looking until you find what you are looking for. How many times have you settled for something that is not quite right, only to find the perfect thing a few weeks later.
Learn what is worth investing in: This may vary from woman to woman. Investment pieces are often items you will get a lot of wear out of or items you really struggle to find. For example, I have very small feet and in my country it’s hard for me to find shoes that fit me. Now Italian shoes fit me perfectly, so I am prepared to invest in a good pair of shoes that will last me longer and work for me. Items that aren’t worth investing in may be trend items you won’t wear for a long time or new styles that you are trying out, but not sure of.
Spend wisely on sale: Sales are a huge spending trap. How many items did you have to have because they were such a good buy and you never wore them. When buying on sale, only buy it if you really love it, you will wear it or you would want to buy it even if it weren’t on sale.
